The Sonoma County Wine Tech Group (SCWTG) is a volunteer organized association that provides North Coast wine industry professionals with presentations, seminars, and discussion groups relating to innovations and advances in wine production techniques and technological applications.

We are a group of wine industry professionals interested in learning and sharing advancements, concerns and opportunities specific to our winemaking region.  Members of the SCWTG are from wineries and companies that supply products to the professional wine industry. Our members include winemakers, suppliers, technicians, cellar workers, viticulturalists, enologists, consultants, as well as Jacks and Janes of all trades.

There are typically eight meetings a year (once a month from December to July. We throw a few ‘social’ meetings in the mix to provide an opportunity for networking. During the ‘Happy Half-Hour’ members share the most expensive and rare of their collected wines (or the cheap swill their wineries let them bring for free!) and then we meet for ‘Tech Talk’ and an open discussion.
