Vineyard Transformation

Phil Coturri of Enterprise Vineyards has been one of the major driving forces behind organic and biodynamic grape growing for over 30 years in both Sonoma and Napa Counties.  One of his latest projects is the transformation of a 30 year Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc vineyard in the eastern mountains of Napa Valley.  Come learn what it takes to revitalize an old site to the highest standards of grape growing known today.  Phil Coturri will discuss his dissection of the vineyard into a diverse collection of rootstocks and clones, conversion to organic farming, and block specific irrigation practices.
