2009 Viticulture Experiments

We are going to have a very informal meeting Jan 20, 2010 at 2pm at MacRostie Winery in the town of Sonoma.
The topic will be Vit experiments. I am going to present a minor experiment we did and I have lined up an outside vineyard manager to discuss experiments he is involved in. There could be a couple extra presenters; however, I have not received confirmation from them. In addition, if you would like to present anything, please let me know- that would be awesome.
Following the presentations, there will a tasting of each attendants wine. I thought instead of bringing a 'thank you' bottle of wine for the host, we would just open the 'thank you' bottles and be able to taste each other's wine in an informal environment. And of course, there will be cheese to go with that wine!!!
Anyway, the first meeting is very informal. It will be a great way to meet other CERA members, have an open discussion regarding vit experiments, and taste each other's wines. In addition, we will discuss future vineyard visits and potential future topics.
Please RSVP. Bring a bottle of wine from your winery (or a winery you sell grapes to), an open mind, and a smile:)
