The History of CERA

CERA is a membership organization dedicated to providing a forum for research in the field of enology.

The working units of the organization are the many committees, which meet on their own schedule and run independently of other committees. The committees consists of a minimum of two CERA members, meet at least once a year, and present a summary of their work at the CERA annual technical meeting. Committee chairs are members of the board of directors, and meet at additional times with the elected officers of the organization to address membership and other administrative issues.
